Goodbye Squizzle
I made this to put my thought sand opinions. Sometimes it kindda morphs to random stuff. It's hardly a "web log."
October 20,2006 Goodbye Because of that fucking noob called whenever , I'm leaving squizzle. I say goodbye to all of my thread post and I'm not going to keep quiet about it. Squizzle was fun before this shit about the fuck blogs. Now whenever is pushing to get all of those fucking 'questionable submissions' . I didn't flame your damn thread about questionable submissions. I'm not going to pay money to see something I can see for free on another site like ebaumsworld, even though eric baumman is an asshole. At least he isn't paranoid. You are killing squizzle. I'm the second member to leave squizzle because of something like this. I'm definetly not the laste person to leave. Bye torie, mal, caff, smokey, flame, fajita, suki, X, m4 guy, ganon, and everyone I didn't mention.

September 19,2006 Gotcha! Someone did this awhile back, so I did it too. I changed the blog name in the hopes of getting more page views for a while. Curiosity killed the cat :D Let me know if you wanna be added to the friends list.
September 14,2006 New Youtube Player I am a registered user of youtube, and I noticed just recently that their video player's look has changed. I liked the old one better.. what do YOU think?
Intro & History This article I've been thinking about writing for quite some time now. American divorce. My parents aren't divorced, but 6/7 of my best friends have parents that are divorced, and it annoys the shit out of me. When people get married, the priest (or minister) says 'until death do you part', not 'until you decide to start cheating', or 'until you decided to become an alcoholic', or even 'until you're sick of your husband watching Monday night football.' In history, there was something like one divorce on the entire earth every 2 years, and the pope had to approve of it.
The Effect on Kids Personally, I don't know what it's like to have divorced parents, but it looks like a pain. Divorce and domestic violence at home can really affect a kid, sometimes turning them into an 'emo' or 'Goth', or depression from the stress of a divorce. And how do you explain to a six year old that she or he won't see his father anymore???? It completely defeats the theory of a big happy family.
Hollywood I think it should be against the law for a marriage in Hollywood. When people get married you're supposed stay with that person forever unless there is doestic violence or stuff like that. Brittany Spears (ughh!!) was married for something like 72 hours, and then got divorced. I remember I was watching Entertainment Tonight and they were talking about marriages. The host was talking about some famous older couple and how they'd been married for 15 years. Then the dumbass host of ET said 'quite a feat for any couple.' NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!! She and everyone else in Hollywood doesn't get that you're supposed to be married for your whole life, not just a temporary love, like dating.
August 22,2006 Firefox, Blog name, and New Music As you may know from the thread I started on Firefox, I finally got sick of IE freezing and I downloaded firefox. I didn't really like it at first, but I got used to it pretty soon and I would highly reccommend it.
I changed my blog name from boring 'BoyCool's Thoughts' to 'BoyCool's Blog' in rough 1337. Cool.
Yet again, I changed my blog music from a Chom 97.7 FM stream to 'DARE' by Gorillas. I stole the music code from Myspace, and I think the server found out so it won't play for me anymore. Post a comment if it works for your computer or not.
NASCAR has lately become America's most entertaining and common sport. Most people who love NASCAR are just fans watching the race through there TV. Some people go to the race so they can see their favorite drivers race around the track in an attempt to win the race at all costs. Some people, however, are really involved in racing, being a part time or full time driver, or being a part-time of full-time NASCAR official.
NASCAR has different level series. There are the Grand National Division, and there are the Regional Series. The Grand National Division is what everyone thinks of when they hear 'NASCAR,' with the Busch South Series, Craftsman Truck Series, and quite obviously the Nextel Cup Series. Unfortunately, the regional series is greatly less famous, with almost everyone working part-time. The series' for that division is Busch East Series and AutoZone West Series.
My father just happens to be the race director for the Busch East Series. He is the guy who runs all of the races in the series, putting out all of the commands to run everything in the race from start to finish. From start to finish means setting up the schedule and all the necessary paperwork the week before the race, directing all of the car trailers into place for the garage area, making sure all the cars properly pass inspection, running the rookie meeting, running the drivers' meeting, running the safety meeting, running everything in 1st practice, running everything in final practice, running time trials, and eventually running the race. Oh boy it is a busy job. When a caution goes out, he was the one who gave the command to put it out, same with all other flags.
July 30 weekend was the 'The Edge Hotel 150 presented by Casella Waste Systems.' I was lucky enough to have my dad ask me if I wanted to go with him. He had never asked me this before. Ahead of time, my father talked to Lee Roy, who is the Busch East Series Director, a.k.a. his boss to get me into the garage area and the tower.
Four long hours on the road through New York State where the population was at its least, with a road, power lines, and many, many trees.
When I got to the hotel I was introduced to the entire BES staff. The next day I woke up early to go to the track. The Busch trailer was already there, with computer equipment and important papers for the race, templates for car inspection and food.
For all of the racing events for the weekend, (Practice, time trials, race, etc.) I was up in the control tower, which is a huge building overlooking the track behind the grandstands. May I say it is the best place to be watching the race. I had the official Nextel Cup radio, so I was listening to all of the commands my father gave out, as well as everything else all the spotters and crew chiefs had to say.
Adirondack is one of the hardest tracks to drive, and so there were many spin-outs and many many cautions. Almost half the race was under caution. There was one red flag, in which one car spun out, another car t-bone it, and another car hit that one, flipping onto its side. The red flag lasted 20 minutes with the tower swarming with questions, info and commands non-stop. It looks as if nothing is happening outside the tower, but a red flag is the busiest part of a race.
I know the article is very long and dull, but the race was very exciting and I wanted to tell all my friends at Squizzle about it.
Even though they are good songs, I got sick of hearing the same song restarting over and over as I went through the pages of my blog. What can fix the problem? A streaming audio source. From where? A radio station. From what radio station? My favorite radio station, a local Canadian classic rock station.
Every other blog (or almost) has background music. Hmm. I finnally got myself a javascript music playlist. You can mess with the controls up top. Now you can listen to good music and read my compalining about things at the same time! Sexy.
The playlist is: Manmade God - Safe Passage Default - Deny
